Trust & Data Handling
TasteOS is an internal fit-intelligence engine. It helps BPM Brands / Lumenfolk products model durable preferences, avoids, blocklists, option fit, and profile summaries using structured signals and consent-aware rules.
TasteOS does not make legal, medical, financial, tax, investment, hiring, or compliance decisions and does not expose full CanonIQ outputs unless a user has purchased or been granted access.
Status
Internal/admin dashboard. Service-role only; not exposed to end users. The TasteOS API can be consumed by permissioned BPM products.
TasteOS vs CanonIQ
Products that build on TasteOS may construct a lightweight, product-specific taste profile. That profile is not the same as your full CanonIQ. Full CanonIQ is a deeper personal context profile delivered only through CanonIQ.bpagelsminor.com.
Consent
Default scope is product_only. Cross-product use requires broader consent. Sensitive domains (health_advocacy, family_support, finance_education, civic) require stricter handling.
Blocklists & corrections
Hard blocks, soft blocks, not_now, never_show_again, and corrections are honored at scoring time. Suppression reasons are returned with every result.
Analytics restrictions
Analytics receives only safe operational events: event name, source_product, domain, action, reason codes, preference direction, confidence band, sensitivity band, counts, booleans. No raw text, no PII, no health/legal/financial detail, no full CanonIQ output.
Inference limits
TasteOS does not infer race, ethnicity, sexuality, gender identity, disability, health condition, legal status, income, family/child status, or crisis status. CanonIQ-informed suggestions use 'interested_in_*' tags from an allowlist, not 'user_is_*' claims.
Cross-product
Profile slices stay product-only by default. Portable scopes (lumenfolk_products, approved_partners, user_exportable) require explicit user permission.
What TasteOS will not do
Override consent · expose admin routes publicly · store raw private free text · claim a recommendation is objectively correct · approve/reject investments, candidates, or compliance items · become the source of truth for public resources or real-time moments.
